I'm Married...Help!

Hey! We’re Keith and Wendy Kadish, co-directors of RMM at Freedom Valley Worship Center, Gettysburg, PA. We’re glad you took the time to find us. No matter where you are in your relationship, God wants you to know that He cares. You are not alone.

We are also on this journey, experiencing the mixture of challenges and joys in married life—sometimes it feels very overwhelming. But we have found the help and strength that Christ offers every person and we are eager to share it with you! We serve in this ministry with a team of couples who each have their own story of struggle and restoration through the power of Christ.

We are not professionals, but we do have a lot of life experience and often say, “I know how it feels”. God’s love plan really works but most of the time change is necessary before it becomes real. We look forward to getting to know you, praying with you and guiding you to the other side of God’s plan.”

Monthly Classes

Monthly classes are offered through School of the Word at Freedom Valley Worship Center on a variety of subjects.  They are specifically designed to bring Biblical relevancy to today’s marriage challenges and are offered to couples as well as individuals.  For regular listings of class topics, please visit www.freedomvalley.org

"Catching the Foxes" is our primary curriculum for married couples. It is an interactive 8 week study, based on the teachings of King Solomon who was most noted for his gift of wisdom.

Contained within his book, "The Song of Solomon", God has outlined powerful concepts that give us more than just a hint of how to find marital success. Solomon likens the relationship between a husband and wife to a vineyard. It is the place of exclusive ownership where intimacy refuses interruption.

But the enemy seeks to find ways to gradually rob, kill and destroy your vineyard by his frequent invasions. As children of God, you and your spouse are fully equipped to catch these foxes and prevent lasting destruction, but most of us don't even know how to recognize them let alone catch them.  This class will help you get on the offensive of Satan’s schemes! 

We have a huge problem in our culture.  The majority of Americans do not believe the ultimate love experience is found in traditional marriage.  Because 70% of Americans have encountered divorce at some point in their lives, marriage for a life time has been relegated to a fantasy where success is realized for the lucky few.  75% of teens and young adults approve of cohabitation, with or without future wedding plans and same-sex unions are steadily finding a place of legitimacy. Should these trends continue, the forecast for conventional marriage is extinction! The mission of marriage ministries must expand to not only reach out to hurting couples, but also to young adult singles.
